Tim Kinney is the President and CEO of Kinney Construction Services Inc. (KCS), a General Building and Engineering Construction firm. KCS recently commemorated their 15 year anniversary on April 8th, 2014. KCS serves the commercial office, retail, industrial, education, financial, medical and hospitality industries. Their core strength resides in the diversity of their project portfolio, as they specialize in new building construction, energy efficiency renovations, department installations, tenant improvements, subdivision infrastructure, renewable energy, and public parks.
Tim's commitment to sustainable building is infused throughout the company culture, office and field operations of KCS. Seven members of management are LEED Accredited Professionals and KCS currently has seven LEED projects either completed or underway including two Platinum buildings and one Net Zero building.
Tim's commitment to sustainable building is infused throughout the comTim earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University. He currently employs eight NAU alumni at KCS.
Tim has three children - Elizabeth, a student at Northern Arizona University, Timmy, a recent graduate from the University of Arizona Law School, and Jada, a nutritionist and natural food advocate. Tim also has two granddaughters, Mia Rose and Della.
