Recently the Arts & Science committee has focused on updating NALA members of major initiatives in the nonprofit sector of arts & science (Route 66, meetings at Astronomy Discovery Center at Lowell and Meteor Crater), as well as learning about the economic impact of the arts sector in Arizona and how we can help be advocates for that.

 

In 2026, I am looking for committee members who would like to brainstorm about what this committee should be doing, and what would be some great programs for the NALA membership. If you are an arts or science professional, that's great. If you just have an interest in these areas, and would like to be involved, I would really welcome that perspective! This will be the most fun committee of NALA, so join us and help make it so!
