Liz Archuleta is a fourth-generation Northern Arizonan and nationally recognized leader with 25 years of public service. From her Sunnyside neighborhood in Flagstaff to Capitol Hill, she has earned a reputation as a fiscally conservative leader, consensus builder, and champion for education and economic development.

As President and CEO of the United Way of Northern Arizona, she improves the lives of children, youth, and families. Previously, she served on the executive leadership team for the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, fostering collaboration with elected officials, ranchers, and farmers nationwide.

From 1996 to 2021, Archuleta served Coconino County, elected seven times to represent District 2 and six times as Board Chair. She led efforts in fiscal management, justice reform, economic development, and post-wildfire flood mitigation. Her leadership helped businesses and workers navigate crises, including the pandemic.

A strong advocate for education, Archuleta believes in its power to drive Arizona’s economy and is passionate about supporting learners, especially those with developmental disabilities like her son. Inspired by her family’s entrepreneurial spirit, she embraces her responsibility to help shape Arizona’s future.
